SPOKEN is the brainchild of Mohamed Lamkoref, a sought-after speechwriter and TEDx speaker coach from Belgium. His passion for public speaking started from a young age, when he competed in the BBC Public Speaking Awards as a teenager. He later studied law at the University of Antwerp and started his career as a lawyer, before making the switch to communications. Mohamed has worked for both national and international communications agencies, serving clients ranging from local start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.
“SPOKEN was born out of the ambition to help interesting people share their stories on stage. Through my work, I have met many people with fascinating ideas who lacked the skills to convey them to an audience. I always saw this as a real travesty, since it makes society miss out on exceptional opportunities. With SPOKEN, I want to change that. I want to give clients the tools they need to be heard, so that a lot more people will be able to share ideas, spark conversation and ignite change.”
